a turn of the eye, it’s already end june! so fast! and i’ve decided to shed light on some of my best and worse of the first half of this yr…**ps: this would be a long post**

Best Song -  haha… definitely Clay Aiken’s Everything I have (featuring William Joseph) nice tune, nice lyrics, nice singer with an exceptionally great voice!

Newest Hobby  -  burning aromatheraphy and fragrance oil in my bedroom, setting the mood and soothing me!

Most Compassionate Act  -  by donating my stuff the the Salvation Army! instead of throwing things away, recycle them by giving them to someone who might have a use for it!

Most Anticipated Movie  -  DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… wat else but harry potter…. wat a giveaway rite… but i’m also looking forward to see the rat show.. ratatto smt la..

Best Movie  -  kinda a tough choice.. i like spiderman 3, blades of glory, pirates.. but i think i will give it to our friendly neighbourhood super hero! cos, in the movie, it shows that ultimately, we are all good inside.. and i like to that about pple.

Worse Person to Watch a Movie With  -  HAHAHA!! this 1 i wun disclose.. it’s someone that i’ve only watch a movie with once. if u think u are that person, can check with me.. i will let u know.. ahha!!

Favourite Drink  -  HAPPY SODA!!! haha.. its pink and it makes the drinker happy! why wouldn;t it be my favourite? =)

Most Desirable Thing  -  i wan to eat donut factory donuts!!!!

Favourite Temp Staff  -  i love all of u! but if i really have to choose.. i would choose guan! =) and it seems that he’s the closest to csc.. think maybe ryan going to be a another one le.. off day also come back to taka.. haha

Favourite New Restaurant - Hanabi Japanese Restaurant. they have 2 outlets, one at bt timah and the other is near to city hall. i wanted to try coscafe and barnacles.. see la… i predict that by yr end, it would be some place diff, all thanks to hong. haha

Best Sport  -  i like swimming! i like the water actually! and i like the fact that i’m working out without feeling sweat sticking to me!

Most Expensive Thing Bought  -  it would be my massage and facial package ba… cost bout 600.. but its good to indulge myself once in a while.. considering that this might just not be a gd yr for me.. haha

Most Educational Trip  -  so far, it would be my trip to the toy museum ba… me and peng said many times that we wan to go to here and there and here and there. but all nato. if not it would be somewhere far more facinating. =)

Best Experience  -  Phamton of the Opera!!!! no less!! i watched the play more than dunno how many pple worldwide caught.. it was great.. and the next run most prob be 10yrs later.. haha

Best Hangout Place  -  i would say it’s balcanoy at the heeren shops. i like it there and they have a jacuzzi… oooooo

i can still remember that when i was younger i loved reading these books..

everyone knows how it looks like.. those small, white, squarish books with a cartoon on the front and when u collect all the books and arranged it in order, the spine will read "Mr. Men" or "Little Miss". how nice it was! and so i would pester my mother to buy me the books everytime we pass by the bookshop but to avail..

cos its thin… and hence not value for money. cos her brilliant daughters devours book back then. ( if not why do u think me and my sister started wearing glasses so early ehh? ) and so i went to the bookshop very often to read free books! tsk.. can’t imagine that i’m so smart even from such a young age.. *blush*

as i grew up, i became more infuatuated with the collection that i made up my own - Little Miss Angeldoll! i had it since hmmm… 14? yeahh… and little miss genius me just tot of a wonderful idea today! that is, to draw a cartoon for myself. and i did!!!

TAAAAAAAAA DAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! so cute rite! i think so too.. its not my best efforts but anyone who ever tried drawing using photostudio programmes would give me credit k! well, lets jsut say if u are a graphic designer or someone who’s career is along that line, walk far far far away from ur com screen and look at the pic… and tell me… how nice is it! hehe..

and i went to their official webbie. the thing is, i nv knew of it’s existance before. silly me.. somehow i did not bothered to check if they have a webby and thus showcasing my ignorance to the world.. ahhh..

anyways, for all the other sua kus out there, their webbie is http://www.mrmen.com/site/flash/ it’s very colourful and can really brighten up your day. cos it never fails to cheer me up.. such a pity they stopped showing the cartoons on local tv now..

they are also part of a children’s charity called the "Variety Club" whereby they raise funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK.  you can join in by purchasing this "gold heart appeal" for their webby http://www.varietyclub.org.uk/gold-hearts it’s priced at 3pounds, which i believe would be close to SGD$10 (excluding shipping). and there are many designs to choose from!

lastly, i would like to introduce a new Mr. AnTzX, something that was drawn by me (no less!) a gift for zx.. waahhhhh you should really feel honoured lei! and the completed work  -  i tried to make it look as much like him as possible.. hence the tall, specy cartoon… the shoes, are the vans shoes that he always talks about… and the hair, is my own interpretation of the "spikey hair" who knows… maybe this hairstyle might be the hottest, most popular hairstyle now?

we were not suppsoed to watch that movie de.. i wanted to watch fanastic 4 and ta wanted to watch men in white. in the end, eileen suggested watching surf’s up cos nobody has watched it b4 and so we went.

the movie was alright.. typical animation with a newsflash kind of protrayal. it was on about how penguins invented surfing. go watch it if u ae looking for smt brainless, but it not much of laughs..

i had lunch with ees at pepper lunch first.. it been such a long time since i last saw them as the working hours of my job doesn’t allow me to spend as much time as i like with my beloved cousins. how fast children grow! sigh..

we took a bus to ps and i met up with me colleagues. little favian was taking piano classes at yamaha and he played me a delightful tune of twinkle twinkle little stars! wat a sweetie.. then they went to watch men in white, under my recommendations of course.. haha

after surf’s up we went to play at the arcade.. been a long long time worrr.. we saw this mother with her 2 children trying to catch a keychain.. and the rate she was putting in the coins like she owns singapore mint.. think she spent at least $20 to get 2 cars pouch.. there were very cute donald duck keychains too.. and i wanted to catch them for ta.. but so diff.. then suan le..

the guys wanted to challenge each other to a match of basketball.. on the machine at the arcade.. just nice there were 4 machines for them.. but this xiao didi was hogging one of them machines.. anyways, his aim was very good.. but according to guan, that machine was easier to shoot in the balls. haha now we know why he was hogging that one.

we took a tain to esplanade to enjoy the scenery and caught a glimse of ndp practice i think.. had dinenr at lau pa sat and took lots of photos! they are such nice people to be with… =)

a nice picture if u look from far…. if u are a meanie and zoom in, you would be able to spot red-eye. anybody knows how do i correct it?

i was on my way to work one day when i felt that someone was looking at me. it was this petite girl, quite pretty with her clear face holding a stack of phamplets. and she was miao-ing me. it wasn’t a stare.. nor was it friendly.. it was a miao!

then she approached me.

i tried to siam. i wasnt really in the mood to entertain surveyors at tt time.

she extended her hand out to me with a phamplet.

so i looked at her.

and she said "you can take it."

but i din give much though to it and continued down orchard road and that was when i look at that piece of paper that she passed to me.

SO, that was when i realised that the missy was miao-ing me to see if i am a smoker or not. and the very fact that she gave me a leaflet means that she indeed tot i was one..

thankfully for her, there was a notable distance between us if not i would have gone back and smacked her with the paper.

but then again, this campaign is great! cos everyone of us deserves clean air.. no offence to smokers, for i have frens who are, but honestly, if u wanna kill urself with lung cancer, go ahead be my guest. but please don’t make us suffer as well by being ur passive.

had planned a full day for myself today involving swimming, cleaning the hamster cage, and repacking my closet. i knew tt guan and the rest were going vivo for shopping today and already rejected them liao… cos i was so freaking determined to do all those things that i had listed out to do

in the end, i went shopping.

peng la! all her fault.. sms pple in the morning ask wanna go out shopping.. i was so reluctant lor.. cos i was reading eldest.. come to think of it, i woke up quite early today.. and the first thing i did was to reach out for my book.

then she asked if i wanted to go taka. heng she wasn’t infront of me.. if not i would just take a book and hurl at her. 5 days a week at taka still not enough ah.. then she was asking if wanna go tampines mall or ikea.. i din mind ikea actually… but found it a bit silly if we travel all the way there to window shop..

in the end, genius me suuggested going to the AMK hub.. cos tt time eileen mentioned going there to catch fantastic 4.. and i tot she was off.. (but it seems i remember wrongly.. haha) so it was to be that we meet at amk at 1pm.. and tt we would go home by evening so tt i could have dinner with mummy..

we went to fitness first and look look see see… cos tt time ah ta mentioned tt she wanted to join gym membership… so i was helping her check the rates.. and realised tt though the memebrship is not bad, (but it’s prices are a slight bit higher than the others) the outlet at amk is kinda small.. but 3 of their clubs have swimming pools! slightly heated too! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…. *drools*

we had lunch at this thai place called sticky rice. though the place is very small, max seating bout 28 pple, it’s kinda cosy.. maybe cos at tt time there were only bout 4 tables.. we ordered 2 mains and a tom yum soup to share.. the dishes were delicious and soup was very tasty. wat stinks was the service by a certain young boy, and i got the feeling that they were chasing us away, though by the time we finish our food, there were nobody at the eatery.

and we went shopping. yay! i bought this nice piece of clothing designed by a local designer which was be worn as a skirt or a tube or halter top.. and since i’m short, it could be made into a dress too. (this is the first time i’, quite happy to be small build) haha! then we continued shooping… walking into almost every single shop.. even those for children.. haha

thingy is, its kinda like heeren.. you will see lots of small small shops open by aspiring business people.. but the thnigs that they sell in each shop, is bout the same.. but i would recommend that u all check out sianeder (where i got my top!) nice clothes.. and the printed tee shop opposite it.

they are ahving this citispa thnigy at the center.. and kaypo peng spotted a photo album and we went to see.. it was like wedding pictures.. so while we were looking, this man came and invited us inside to listen bout wedding photo package.. and he was like asking us when is the wedding date… it was like.. huh??

but i told the man that peng would be getting married soon. we will make sure of that. no worries, peng. =) (look out for my next post)

as i was still very full fm lunch, we shared an oreo cheesecake.. for dinner actually.. now when i think of it, i realised that peng might be hungry.. tsk.. hopefully she has foodie at home.. we had it at anderson’s.. it seems they serve fondue too.. hehe.. it’s a nice place, facing the main road, and the sofa tt i was sitting on was very confortable. haha

ohh… the mall is having some kind of lucky draw thingy.. so its like every $20 spending u will get a chance to have a scratchcard.. and it might win u something… we had ermm…. 8? 9? scratchcards… yeahh yeahh… we know… we know.. we spent alot of money.. but that’s not the point.. the point is… we got 2 amk exclusive pens!

duhhhh… wat a waste of time! and you wanna know the worse part of it all???

actually, i had already gotten over it.. after watching shrek.. no less.. but i just saw nik’s msn nick.. and hey… it’s flaming the smouldering fire..

over the organisation that i am working for no less. and of course, the subjects in it. adn i utterly despise those that makes a fuss out of nothing.. and there’s a term for it, so i learnt… zx said that it’s called stir shit. i think it;s very cool..

thing was.. i changed a screen saver’s display and it was like hooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… die liao die liao…. orrrhhhhhhh… i’m in trouble… chap liao….

so it’s alright to change the wallpapers and screen savers to neutral things.. like papaya and sotong.. but it’s not nice to put names.. weird.. the last time i chaecked, they are all classified under the same catergotry…. nonuns..

and with all cartoons, made with the family in mind, this has a moral to it too.. for shrek 3 is…

have been watching movies quite frequently lately.. just caught pirates on mon.. it was ok ba… not as bad as wat i heard from the thousands of pple out there..

then on wed nite, dearest bel popped out at orchard and so we caught a movie together.. its a local production titled "men in white" thing is, b4 he mentioned, i’ve never heard of it. simply, i’m not much of a fan of local productions..

i did caught some… like i not stupid and wat nots.. but i wun purposely make it a point to go watch them if u know wat i mean yaaaaa… anyways, he was telling me it’s some kind of comedy "ghost" show so… why not?

and it was really worth the time.. cos it’s DAMN funny!! but i wun spoil the show by telling u the storyline..
